Andy has been a Financial Advisor for over 18 years. He is fully devoted to delivering exceptional financial advice and service. As a partner at Horizon Financial Group, Andy serves in two major capacities —Financial Advisor for a select group of individuals and families and heads up our Retirement Plans Division as a Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM , Accredited Investment FiduciarySM and Professional Plan ConsultantTM for businesses.
With progress and improvement in mind, Andy collaborates with business owners to identify their optimal plan design, evaluate the reasonableness of expenses, provide proactive service and monitor their fund offerings. He leads a team of advisors who work with participants to help them understand the reality of retirement and the need to actively plan and save. He was instrumental in developing The 401(k)onfidence System™, Horizon’s proprietary system for providing ongoing education, guidance, communication and service to plan sponsors and their employees. The ultimate goal Andy and his team strive toward is helping plan sponsors and participants achieve greater confidence, clarity and direction with their retirement plan.

Andy received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from LSU in Mathematics. He and his bride, Heather, have two teenage kids. He is active in his church and community.
Clint builds customized financial plans for Horizon, helping clients with strategies and solutions to accomplish their financial goals. He is also responsible for directing the firm’s overall investment strategy and managing client portfolios. Clint received the Certified Wealth Strategist® designation from the Canon Financial Institute. This designation is awarded to individuals who have completed a comprehensive program of study surrounding complex wealth management issues facings clients today. Clint is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He holds his Series 7 and 66 security registrations and has his Life, Health and Disability Insurance license. Prior to joining Horizon, Clint had a 10 year career in health care finance.
Bill is both a registered Financial Advisor and the Media Manager for Horizon Financial Group. His dual responsibility consists of both developing marketing strategies to assist the firm in achieving its business objectives, as well as assisting individuals and families in investing and protecting assets.
Bill holds Series 7 and 66 security registrations with Cetera Advisors. As a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist(SM), Bill helps Horizon service over 60 company retirement plans including 401(k), 403(b), 457, and SIMPLE IRA plans.
Prior to joining Horizon, Bill spent 8 years as a CEO in the healthcare industry. He also had a lengthy career in television broadcasting, business development, and marketing operations.
In his spare time Bill enjoys working as an independent video producer and is actively involved in community theatre. He is a long-time member of Lions Club, has served on boards of several non-profit groups. He and his wife Melissa have two daughters Molly and Miranda.
As an Associate Financial Advisor at Horizon Financial Group, Rachel provides support for the firm’s lead financial advisors and partners. On a typical day at Horizon, she is responsible for data gathering, analysis and development of financial planning and investment recommendations for both individuals and businesses.
Before joining Horizon, Rachel worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies as well as small start-ups over the past 10+ years, all of which while working in the investment and insurance industry, on both the individual/family and employer group levels.
While the companies worked for and clients worked with has ran the gamut in size and complexity, one thing has remained true and has been imperative to both her success and the success of her clients. She lives by the belief that sincere relationships matter, and that they are the foundation for everyone’s success and happiness. Rachel's goal is to build and strengthen relationships, both old and new, big and small.
She gives back with a favorite pastime: running. Whether by fund-raising or handing out water, she always finds a way to give back to a charity or the community by volunteering at races. Additionally, Rachel is a lifelong angler who is involved with Costal Conservation Association (CCA) passion to help conserve, promote, and enhance the present and future availability of coastal resources.
Brooke is the Chief Operating Officer for Horizon Financial Group. Her primary area of focus is the design and implementation of Horizon’s operational objectives and procedures. Brooke works alongside her other partners to help the firm reaches its objectives through assessment, goal setting and strategic planning.
Her other responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining the firm’s financial and accounting records, managing technology for the firm, and leading the operations team while also servicing the firm’s top clients.
Brooke has been in the financial services industry for over 16 years and holds a Series 7 Securities License. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and St. Joseph’s Academy. Outside of the office, she and her husband, Clint, stay busy with their two sons, Parker and Conner.
As the Compliance Director and OSJ Delegate for Horizon Financial Group, Colby handles all supervision duties on behalf of Horizon Financial Group, interacting with Advisors and their staff as well as conferring and consulting with both Pete Bush, Chris Sullivan and Cetera Advisors regularly and as needed on the business of Advisors we oversee.
Colby joined Horizon in 2006 and handles the day to day duties of the OSJ. She is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) and holds series 7,24 and 66 securities registrations as well as membership of several focus groups at Cetera Advisors.
Prior to joining Horizon, Colby received a degree from LSU in International Trade and Finance as well as her MBA. Her experience includes a background of work in both operations and supervision aspects of the securities business.
When she isn't working on her supervision duties on her days off, Colby enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, baking and getting involved in her church community.
Chris Sullivan, is the Branch Development Director of the Horizon Advisor Network, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He has been in the financial services industry since 1999, spending the majority of his career helping advisors build more confident practices. His primary areas of focus today include practice development, acquisition and succession planning with the Horizon Advisor Networks affiliated advisors. Through our Confident Advisor Practice program Chris helps advisors develop more confidence, clarity and direction in their practices.
Prior to joining the Horizon Advisor Network Chris began his career in the securities industry in a sales and marketing role with a small securities firm. From there Chris became a partner in a financial planning practice. Realizing early on the need for fee-based planning, he helped the firm transition a decades old transactional based business into one focused on fee-based investment management. Most recently, Chris spent three years at Cetera Advisors, following the transition to Cetera by his prior firm, The Pacific West Financial Group, where he spent the six years as the VP of Business Development. At Cetera Advisors, Chris directed the relationship management team, as well as used his business consulting skills in the areas of succession and acquisition.
Chris earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Eastern Washington University. He holds the Series 7, 24, and 66 securities registrations, as well as a Life and Health Insurance License.
Chris lives in the Spokane, WA area with his wife and three children. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. As a former college athlete, he enjoys giving back to the community through coaching youth football.
As the Compliance and Operations Associate for Horizon Financial Group, Jennifer
plays a critical role in our firm by ensuring outstanding client and advisor service
through direct contact with clients, our broker dealer, advisors and fellow staff members.
With responsibility for assisting with the day-to-day operational and compliance duties of
the firm, her goal is to ensure that all service needs are handled in a timely, accurate,
and professional manner.
Prior to joining Horizon, Jennifer has 11 years’ experience combined in the internal
audit, financial, and insurance industries. Jennifer earned a Bachelor’s degree in
Psychology and her MBA from Louisiana State University. She holds a Life, Accident,
and Health Insurance License.
When not in the office, her hobbies include working out and spending time with family
which includes her husband, Matt, nieces, and nephew.
As the Operations Assistant for Horizon Financial Group, Brookelynn makes sure that every member of our team is prepared for their tasks each day and that every client is introduced and welcomed to our office with a friendly smile.
From managing the design of Horizon’s assets to her assistance in running a smooth operation, she ensures that the right steps are taken and that tasks are done with meticulous detail.
Before joining Horizon, Brookelynn worked as a retail manager at Zeagler Music for 8 years. She brings her love of music to the office and out of the office where she volunteers with Music in Our Schools and has served on the Artistic Board at Baker Little Theater and the Zachary Art House Theater Board. Brookelynn is also a proud member and supporter of Friends of the Baton Rouge Zoo.
